As Canadian artists living in Los Angeles, Sara Botsford, director, producer, award winning Canadian actress, and Chris Brown, director and visual effects supervisor, partners in 49th Parallel Theatre, believe there is something missing in the Los Angeles theatre scene. That something is a voice from the north. To that end, 49th Parallel will produce Canadian plays by new authors and by internationally recognized, award winning authors such as George F. Walker, Jason Sherman, Judith Thompson, Daniel MacIvor, David French, John Murrell, Michel Tremblay, Morris Panych, David Young, and the late Timothy Findlay.
